Homebuyer Show Scotland in Glasgow is pleased to announce an exciting media partnership with The Herald and Times Group. The partnership has been established to add value to Scotland’s first homebuyer focused event to be held at The Glasgow Royal Concert Hall on Saturday 19th October. The partnership will build on the success of the free event which aims to help homebuyers make their next, or first, move; increasing visitor numbers on the day and adding extra value to its exhibitors.

Homebuyer Show Scotland is also supported by new homes portal for homebuyers, whathouse.com and leading trade title for housebuilders, Show House. Together, with The Herald, the partnerships mean that the property event will reach out to all the right audiences and make for a successful day for visitors

Matt Colgan, Event Director for Homebuyer Show Scotland says: “We are so pleased to announce this exciting partnership with The Glasgow Herald. Whilst Homebuyer Show Scotland is a new and innovative event for the homebuying market in Glasgow, The Herald is Scotland’s oldest and most successful media company and highly regarded in Glasgow. Together we have come up with some new and creative ideas to make for a really useful and informative homebuying event for anyone who attends. Our partnerships will lead to increased exposure of this free event, meaning more support for people in Glasgow looking to make an informed next move.”

Stephen McDevitt, Head of Digital and Branded Content for The Herald says: “There’s nothing else quite like Homebuyer Show Scotland in Glasgow – or in Scotland – where those looking to move home can come to one venue to find out everything they need to know. As a vigorous supporter of Scotland’s property sector, The Herald is delighted to partner with this dynamic new and proactive event which is also the perfect audience for our readers and followers. We look forward to working with the Homebuyer Show.

Scotland team now and hope to build on this partnership to make this a must attend event for both exhibitors and homebuyers.”

The free show, which already has hundreds of homebuyers signed up to attend, is designed to provide free advice to those looking to make their next move. Whether they are first time buyers looking for the best mortgage deal available or a family looking to upsize in the commuter belt; there will be advice available and a range of property options to discover.

Homebuyer Show Scotland has a good range of exhibitors signed up to share their property insight on the day; including Pacitti Jones, Urban Union, The Glasgow Mortgage Company and Tru Wealth. Seminars throughout the day will also include insight into schemes such as Help to Buy (Scotland) and LIFT. Luxury housebuilder Mactaggart & Mickel were the latest exhibitors to sign up to promote a range of stunning family homes in and around Glasgow and the commuter belt.

Joanne Casey, Director at Mactaggart & Mickel, said: “As a 5-star rated housebuilder, providing fabulous customer service is our watchword, so this show will be an ideal chance to meet people who are looking to buy their next home in a relaxed and informed environment.

“Our team will talk people through the buying process, promote the benefits of buying new, and help buyers find a location and property that is exactly right for them. And our part exchange scheme means we may even be able to help them sell their own homes too.”
